Job summary

Avis Budget Group is hiring an experienced automotive technician to service a fleet of cargo vans and box trucks across multiple brands. You will perform routine and complex repairs, preventive maintenance, and diagnostics to keep vehicles safe and on the road.

The role includes mobile repair duties and may involve driving Budget Trucks to locations. A CDL may be required depending on location, with ASE certification career growth supported.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience performing mechanical repairs and diagnostics on medium-duty or heavy-duty equipment.
• At least 1 ASE certification, with the ability to obtain 2 additional ASE certifications within the first year.
• Valid Driver’s License Class A, B, or C CDL may be required depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard and complex mechanical repairs on a fleet of cargo vans and box trucks with minimal supervision.
• Include preventive maintenance, oil/fluid services, tire repairs, brakes and suspension work, electrical diagnostics, and warranty-related repairs.
• Possess mobile repair responsibilities and may travel to vehicle locations; may drive Budget Trucks on public roads.
