Job summary

Avis Budget Group is hiring an Automotive Mechanic (B Tech) to service a fleet of moving vans and box trucks. You will perform essential repairs, oil changes, brake work, and warranty items with limited supervision on-site in a mechanical shop environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of auto repair experience and at least one ASE certification, with potential to obtain two more within the first year. On-site work with opportunities for ASE growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License (Class A, B, or C)
• Minimum of 2 years of professional auto repair experience
• At least 1 ASE certification, with the ability to obtain 2 additional ASE certifications within the first year
• Comfortable working in a mechanical shop with moderate to loud noise levels
• Must have a complete set of tools for automotive repair and maintenance

Responsibilities

• Perform essential mechanical repairs and maintenance on a fleet of newer moving vans and box trucks
• Oil and fluid services, lubrication, tire repairs, brake and suspension work
• Warranty-related repairs based on experience
• Assist senior technicians with diagnostics and repairs as needed
• May drive Budget Truck on public roads for testing or support
