Job summary

Avis Budget Group is seeking an Automotive Mechanic (B Tech) to perform repairs and maintenance on moving vans and box trucks. You’ll handle oil, fluids, tires, brakes, and suspension while learning advanced diagnostics under supervision.

You’ll gain ASE certification support, on-the-job training, and benefits, including retirement plans and insurance. On-site work supports fleet readiness and customer operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of professional auto repair experience.
• At least 1 ASE certification, with the ability to obtain 2 additional ASE certifications within the first year.
• Must have a complete set of tools for automotive repair.
• Must be able to obtain DOT medical clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform essential mechanical repairs and maintenance on a diverse fleet of newer moving vans and box trucks.
• Oil and fluid services, lubrication, tire repair, brake and suspension work.
• Assist senior technicians with more complex diagnostics and repairs.
• May drive a Budget Truck on public roads for testing, repair verification, or operational support.
