Job summary

FleetPride is seeking a Mobile Service Technician II to join our Carlisle, PA shop team. You will diagnose and repair class 7 & 8 trucks and trailers, perform preventative maintenance, and support on-site service calls.

Excellent diagnostic skills, tool proficiency, and a safety-first mindset are essential for success. Responsibilities include basic welding, brake work, and system troubleshooting while maintaining a tidy workspace and coordinating with customers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience repairing class 7 & 8 trucks and trailers.
• Welding experience is preferred and air brake certification is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record required; CDL preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles to determine damage or malfunction and provide preventive maintenance solutions.
• Perform basic and advanced repairs, adjustments, and component replacements with limited supervision.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose vehicle systems; perform tests and road tests as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and support shop operations.
