Job summary
Mid Tenn Trailer Repair seeks an experienced Mobile Trailer Technician to service trailers at customer sites in the Memphis area. You will work from a fully equipped company service truck with a steady schedule and a strong local presence.
The role emphasizes DOT inspections, brake diagnosis, welding and fabrication, and independent, professional customer interactions with opportunities for ongoing growth and increased earnings through bonuses and raises.
Qualifications
- Experience with trailer/heavy equipment maintenance and repair.
- Ability to diagnose problems with minimal supervision.
- Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and attention to safety.
Responsibilities
- Perform DOT inspections and preventative maintenance.
- Diagnose and repair air brake systems and components.
- Repair wheel ends, hubs, seals and suspensions.
- Fabricate or weld as needed for trailers and components.
- Diagnose electrical and lighting systems at customer locations.
- Maintain accurate labor, parts, and repair notes with photos.
- Represent Mid Tenn professionally at customer sites.
