Job summary

TEN (Transportation Equipment Network) is seeking a Mobile Trailer Technician to travel to customer sites, perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance and repairs on trailers across North America.

The role emphasizes independent work in a mobile service environment with hands-on welding, brake and electrical system work, and DOT inspections, supported by comprehensive benefits and bonuses.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Trailer Technician, Trailer Mechanic, Mobile Mechanic, or Fleet Maintenance Technician.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with welding, brake systems, suspension, and electrical repair.
• Ability to work independently in a mobile service environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to mobile service calls and complete on-site trailer repairs.
• Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot trailer issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.
• Repair brake, suspension, electrical, floors, doors, frames and structural components.
• Weld and fabricate as required.
• Complete work orders and maintenance documentation.
• Manage inventory and parts on service vehicle.
• Ensure safety and compliance standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
• Equipment you'll service: Dry van, Flatbed, Utility, Cargo trailers.
