Job summary

TEN (Transportation Equipment Network) seeks a Mobile Trailer Technician to travel to customer sites for inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs of commercial trailers. Join a leading North American network known for safety and quality service.

You’ll work independently, diagnosing issues, performing preventive maintenance, and repairing trailer systems across various trailer types. The role offers hands-on work with room for growth and advancement.

Qualifications

Experience as a Trailer Technician, Trailer Mechanic, Mobile Mechanic, Fleet Maintenance Technician.
Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
Experience with welding, brake systems, suspension, and electrical repair.
Ability to work independently in a mobile service environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Familiarity with hand tools and power tools and diagnostic equipment.
CDL and DOT experience considered an asset.

Responsibilities

Respond to mobile service calls and complete on-site trailer repairs.
Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot trailer issues.
Perform preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.
Repair and replace trailer components including brake systems, suspension, electrical, and structural components.
Perform welding and fabrication work as required.
Complete work orders and maintenance documentation.
Manage inventory and parts on service vehicle.
Ensure all work meets safety and compliance standards.
