Prestige Fleet Services is actively seeking skilled technicians to maintain and repair commercial trailers. You’ll diagnose and fix brakes, hydraulics, electrical systems, and perform DOT inspections, with a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience repairing Commercial Class 8 Trailers.
• Experience with annual federal inspections and brake inspections.
• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record and no suspensions.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and use computers for billing/work orders.
• Clear communication to explain diagnoses and next steps to customers.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, inspect, and repair Class 8 trailers including brakes, electrical, hydraulic, lift-gate, and suspension systems.
• Perform trailer patchwork and minor structural repairs as needed.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and DOT inspections; service tires, hubs, and axles.
• Write work orders and manage repair orders on company devices for mobile road calls and in-yard work.
• Test systems and ensure trailers meet DOT safety requirements.
• Manage inventory and source parts from local vendors.
• Complete inspection reports and DOT documentation accurately and on time.
• Deliver excellent customer service and report findings to management.
