Job summary

Prestige Fleet Services is hiring skilled technicians to diagnose, repair, and maintain Class 8 trailers. You will handle brakes, electrical, hydraulic, and suspension systems, perform preventive maintenance, and complete DOT inspections.

You’ll also manage work orders, source parts, and deliver reliable service to customers on road and in-yard. We value hands-on problem solving, strong organization, and good communication.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience repairing Commercial Class 8 Trailers.
• Experience with federal inspections and brake inspections.
• Valid Driver’s License with clean record; ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Comfortable using computer-based billing and work orders.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, inspect, and repair Class 8 trailers including brakes, electrical, hydraulic, and suspension.
• Perform trailer patchwork and minor structural repairs as needed.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and DOT inspections; replace tires, hubs, axles.
• Write work orders and manage repair orders on mobile and in-yard systems.
• Test systems and ensure DOT safety compliance; source parts locally.
• Deliver strong customer service and report findings to management.
