Job summary

Prestige Fleet Services provides on-site truck and trailer maintenance with a mobile team. We are looking for experienced technicians to perform repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance at customer sites.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in diesel and trailer repair, strong communication, and the ability to work irregular hours. DOT and brake inspections experience is valued; valid driver’s license and own tools are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of diesel and trailer repair experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays.
• Valid Driver’s License required and self-motivated with good organization.
• Ability to use a computer/tablet to process work orders and update statuses.
• 2 years of experience in federal inspections and brake inspections.
• 2 years of truck/trailer maintenance experience or equivalent.
• Must possess proper tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and inspections on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers (brakes, diagnostics, A/C, electrical, engine, exhaust, etc).
• Schedule and oversee maintenance procedures, including preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Repair/Replace vehicle/trailer components.
• Open and close repair orders on a company-issued device.
• Obtain parts from local vendors and manage inventory.
• Accurately complete DOT forms and other documentation.
