Job summary

Prestige Fleet Services is hiring experienced diesel and trailer technicians for on-site maintenance and repair of Class 6-8 trucks and trailers. The team emphasizes on-site service, DOT inspections, and reliable parts management to keep fleets running smoothly.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years in diesel/trailer repair, a valid license, and the ability to work extended hours. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of diesel and trailer repair experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work extended and/or irregular hours including weekends and holidays when needed.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Self-motivated with good organization and planning skills.
• Ability to utilize a computer/tablet for electronic processing of work orders.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and inspections on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers (brakes, diagnostics, A/C, electrical, engine components, exhaust, after-treatment, lift-gates, tires).
• Schedule and oversee maintenance procedures, including preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.
• Repair/replace vehicle/trailer components.
• Open and close repair orders on company devices.
• Obtain parts from local vendors and manage inventory on the service truck.
• Accurately complete DOT forms and other documentation promptly.
