Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, DOT inspections, brakes, electrical, and suspension work; drafting repair orders on a company device; managing parts and delivering strong customer service.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience repairing Commercial Class 8 Trailers.
• Experience with annual federal inspections and brake inspections.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Comfortable using computers for billing and work orders.
• Follows written and verbal work orders to stay on track.
• Confident explaining a diagnosis over the phone and advising on repairs.
• Self-motivated with strong organization and planning.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, inspect, and repair Class 8 trailers.
• Perform trailer patchwork and minor structural repairs.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.
• Write work orders and manage repair orders on a company device.
• Test systems for performance and DOT compliance.
• Manage service truck inventory and source parts locally.
• Complete inspection reports and DOT documentation.
• Deliver strong customer service and report findings to management.
