Job summary

Merakey seeks a Mobile Therapist to join our Children’s Behavioral Health program. This fee-for-service role requires a candidate who can work a minimum of 15 hours per week and earn $36.00-$39.00 per hour based on education, experience, and licensure.

The therapist works within an interdisciplinary team to provide intensive therapeutic services to clients and their families, often in the client’s home, with potential school or community-based treatment as determined appropriate.

Qualifications

• PA licensure in psychology, counseling, social work or marriage and family therapy is required.
• Graduate degree with a practicum in clinical/mental health services is required.
• Experience providing mental health direct services to children is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive clinical therapy to clients and families, primarily in home settings.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Document progress and coordinate services with schools or community partners.
• Adhere to Merakey policies and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Licensed in PA as a psychologist, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist or clinical social worker

OR

• Licensed in PA as a social worker or behavior specialist AND have a graduate degree that required a clinical or mental health direct service practicum from an accredited college or university

OR

• Minimum of 1 year full-time experience in providing mental health direct services to children -- 21 years of age AND a graduate degree with at least nine credits specific to clinical practice in psychology, social work or counseling from an accredited college or university

OR

• Completed a clinical or mental health direct service practicum AND have a graduate degree with at least 9 credits specific to clinical practice in psychology, social work, education, counseling or a related field from an accredited college or university.
