Job summary

Merakey seeks a Family Based Case Manager/co-Therapist to join our Child and Family Services team in Kennett Square, PA, covering Chester County and sometimes York County. Earn $25.22/hour while delivering skills training and coordination with schools and physicians.

You will support families with mentally ill or emotionally disturbed children, travel to homes and community resources, and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends to meet caseload needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work or related discipline, or bachelor's with 12 credits in counseling/psychology.
• Minimum of one year experience working with children or adolescents.
• Valid Pennsylvania driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
• Crisis intervention and de-escalation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide treatment services to families including skills training and education to enable families to care for their mentally ill or emotionally disturbed children at home.
• Maintain regular communication with families, schools, physicians, and other service providers involved with the children and family.
• Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet caseload needs.
• Travel to clients' homes, other agencies, and community resources to arrange and provide services.
