Job summary

TelCom Construction, LLC is hiring a Telecom Drill Bores Operator to install underground telecommunications cables and infrastructure. You will determine bore paths, safely operate equipment, verify utilities, and manage bore schedules in all weather conditions.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement (or willingness to obtain it), a valid state driver’s license, and prior drilling equipment experience. We offer strong benefits and stability.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain it.
• Experience with drilling equipment and bore design processes.

Responsibilities

• Determine bore path and locate utilities.
• Safely operate and control all necessary equipment to complete tasks.
• Verify existing utilities by potholing to determine bore path.
• Utilize mud mixing systems.
• Develop and maintain a bore schedule.
• Site set-up, clean-up, and equipment maintenance.
• Work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.
