Job summary

Jgpete is seeking an experienced Mobile Service Technician to join our growing team in the United States. The role requires independent work, strong diesel truck maintenance background, and willingness to travel throughout the service region to customer workplaces and homes.

You will diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of vehicles or machinery while upholding high safety and quality standards, with a goal of delivering exceptional customer service and timely, reliable service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 7 years hands‑on experience as a technician (automotive, diesel, or heavy equipment preferred).
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to use digital repair documentation.
• Willingness to work in varying weather conditions and travel within service region.

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty and have a natural disposition to put the customer first.
• Engage with many different customers each day and represent the dealership while being calm and responsive.
• Organize and prepare for the day’s appointments and be excellent at time management.
• Perform vehicle repairs and/or maintenance work as outlined on the repair order in a clean and efficient manner.
• Communicate with the Mobile Service Coordinator, Parts Department, and Dealer Management regularly to effectively manage production and customer communication.
• Stay current with new technology by attending manufacturer training and reviewing technical service bulletins.
• Adhere strictly to safety procedures and company policies.
