Job summary

Target is seeking a mobile engineering expert to support a large-scale device infrastructure across stores and distribution centers. You will configure, deploy and maintain mobile devices, manage enterprise profiles and MDM compliance, and drive improvements for availability and security in a complex enterprise environment.

Ideal candidates bring 4-year degrees or equivalent, strong Android/iOS knowledge, and experience with Agile methods.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree or equivalent in technical troubleshooting and hands-on enterprise experience.
• Experience managing a large wireless printer environment.
• Experience with Mobile Devices (handhelds, tablets, kiosks, wearables, printers).
• MDM expertise with enterprise solutions.
• OS: Android and iOS.
• Networking: LAN/WAN/WLAN authentication.
• Knowledge of network and data security principles.
• Familiar with Android development tools.
• Ability to patch OS and manage application lifecycles.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Support a large mobile device infrastructure across Target stores and DCs.
• Lead configuration, installation and maintenance of mobile devices.
• Manage enterprise device profiles and MDM configuration and compliance.
• Improve availability, reliability and stability of hardware platforms.
• Coordinate with project teams, partners, and stakeholders.
• Plan and execute hardware/software upgrades.
• Provide 3rd level engineering support to customer teams.
• Analyze monthly performance to drive incident trend improvements.
• Collaborate with Security, Infrastructure, Support and Development teams.
• Contribute technical input during large hardware/software implementations.
