Job summary

Vanguard is seeking an experienced Senior Mobile DevOps Lead to guide a cross-functional team responsible for iOS/Android platforms, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation. You will align with UK and Australia partners on shared mobile infrastructure strategy while shaping the technical direction of the DevOps team.

The role requires broad mobile engineering experience, a strong DevOps background, and proven leadership in delivering high-quality software in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• Eight years of related work experience with at least five years in software project management.
• Experience supporting a large-scale mobile engineering organization across iOS, Android, React Native and Node.
• Strong technical background with modern DevOps practices (CI/CD, monitoring, automation).
• Understanding of mobile app release cycles and app-store submission processes.

Responsibilities

• Hire, evaluate, and supervise crew; set performance standards and compensation per HR policies.
• Use Agile methodologies to deliver quality solutions and improve IT processes.
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and renewals in the DevOps space.
• Collaborate with management to plan staffing and departmental goals; monitor service delivery metrics.
• Develop and implement changes to department policies to meet business needs.
• Lead quality initiatives and report status and initiatives to management and peers.
• Oversee budget development and ensure departmental expenditures stay within guidelines.
