Job summary

Software Placement Group is seeking a Territory Manager to operate a fully stocked mobile store, bringing industrial hardware products and service directly to customers across transportation, aviation, facilities maintenance, aerospace, medical, military, marine, power generation, manufacturing, government, and heavy equipment in the Oakland area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must reside within the assigned territory; relocation is not available.
• Must be able to purchase or lease an approved mobile store vehicle.
• Must maintain a clean driving history.
• Physical ability to kneel and bend to the floor on a regular basis.
• Strong, tenured work background with no job hopping; ideally a maximum of 3 companies over the past 10 years.
• Proficiency with databases, spreadsheets, email, and common business applications.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with a proven history of goal attainment.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new sales leads through research, referrals, and calls on businesses near existing customers.
• Make face-to-face cold and warm sales calls.
• Present products and services using sample boards, product demonstrations, and the mobile store.
• Maintain the cleanliness, operation, marketing, and functionality of the mobile store.
• Submit complete and accurate daily business reports on sales orders and prospect calls.
• Maintain accurate customer contact information, notes, and records using company software.
