Job summary
Verkada is seeking a Mobile Software Engineering intern to join our team for an exciting and challenging internship. You will collaborate across teams to enable a native mobile experience in both existing and new iOS and Android applications, supporting the security systems platform.
You will work in Swift or Kotlin, contribute to backend work, and participate in iterative sprints while building tests and automation.
Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelors degree in Computer Science (or similar) with graduation date in 2026
- Strong knowledge of mobile development concepts and best practices
- Willingness to learn both Swift/iOS and Kotlin/Android ecosystems
Responsibilities
- Support the entire mobile application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release) for iOS and Android apps
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features
- Develop in Swift or Kotlin alongside backend work
- Contribute to iterative sprint planning to design, develop, and test solutions
- Build automation and tests to streamline development
