Job summary

Go Kia Tacoma is seeking a skilled Service Technician to service customer vehicles at the shop and on-site locations in a mobile van. Expect strong earning potential with a steady workflow in a dealership setting.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands-on experience, a clean driver’s record, ASE credentials preferred, and solid communication to coordinate with service advisors and parts staff. Ford-trained techs welcome, with growth opportunities noted.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of hands-on experience in a dealership or independent shop.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• ASE certifications preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• Able to work outdoors and adapt to changing weather conditions when required.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations in a company-provided mobile service van.
• Perform a wide range of mechanical repairs including engine diagnostics, brakes, suspension, HVAC, and electrical work.
• Diagnose and repair gas and diesel vehicles, including trucks and light-duty commercial units.
• Complete scheduled maintenance, manufacturer recalls, and customer concerns on site.
• Communicate clearly with Service Advisors and the Parts Department to keep work moving efficiently.
• Document repairs accurately and keep customers informed throughout the process.
• Stay current with Ford training, tools, and technical service bulletins.
• Maintain the mobile service vehicle and ensure it reflects professional standards.
