Job summary

Sterling Heights Ford is seeking a Mobile Service Technician to perform on-site maintenance and repairs at customer locations. You will diagnose, repair, and service vehicles while delivering dealership-quality results and a superior customer experience.

The role reports to the Service Manager, is onsite with regular home visits, and offers a flat-rate pay structure of $40+ per hour with a 4-5 day work week and ample work volume.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive repair experience required.
• 1+ years of Ford-specific experience preferred.
• ASE or manufacturer certifications required.
• Strong diagnostic skills and tool proficiency.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to work offsite at customer locations.
• Team-oriented with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance efficiently and accurately to Ford/dealership standards.
• Diagnose vehicle concerns and determine corrective actions.
• Complete work in compliance with safety requirements and policies.
• Document repairs, diagnostics, test results, and labor times on orders.
• Maintain a professional mobile work environment and uphold company standards.
• Provide and maintain a personal inventory of standard automotive tools.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while representing Sterling Heights Ford.

As a Mobile Service Technician, you will perform vehicle maintenance and repairs at customer locations, delivering dealership-quality service with convenience and ease. You'll diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles while ensuring an exceptional customer experience. The Mobile Tech position reports to the Service Manager is onsite and requires regular home visits to customers.
