Job summary

Steet Ponte Ford in New York is seeking a Mobile Service Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have ASE certification and experience in vehicle repairs and maintenance, traveling to customer workplaces and homes to handle service needs and recalls.

Qualifications

• ASE certification is required or in progress.
• Experience as a service technician is preferred but not mandatory.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Familiarity with Ford equipment and systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
• Engage with many different customers daily and represent the dealership.
• Organize and prepare for the day’s appointments.
• Perform vehicle repairs and/or maintenance as outlined on repair orders.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to manage production and customer communication.
• Accurately document vehicle repairs/work performed on the repair order.
• Stay informed of Ford technical bulletins and complete required training.
• Able to work occasionally in challenging weather conditions.
• Able to drive and maintain a company vehicle responsibly.
