Job summary

Tropical Ford Inc. in Orlando, FL is seeking a Mobile Service Technician to join our growing team. The role travels in the Mobile Service van to customer workplaces and homes to handle basic service needs and recalls, with Ford certification in Field Service Actions.

This position emphasizes excellent customer service, organization, and collaboration with Parts and Service Advisors. Benefits include health, 401K, vacation, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be Ford certified in Field Service Actions.
• Previous service technician experience preferred.
• Valid driver license required.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Comfort with using tablets and other devices.

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
• Engage with many different customers each day and represent the dealership.
• Organize and prepare for the day's appointments.
• Perform vehicle repairs and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair order.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to manage production and customer communication.
• Accurately document vehicle repairs/work performed on the repair order.
• Stay informed of Ford technical bulletins and complete required training.
• Able to work occasionally in challenging weather conditions.
• Able to drive and maintain a company vehicle responsibly.

Responsibilities:
