Job summary

Lufkin Ford is seeking a Mobile Service Technician to join our growing team. The successful candidate will travel in the Mobile Service van to customer workplaces and homes to handle basic service needs and recalls, while representing the Ford dealership with a focus on excellent customer service.

Qualified applicants will have a strong service technician background, ASE or Ford certifications preferred, and a valid driver license. Previous experience is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Valid driver license.
• ASE/Manufacturer certifications - Ford certifications are desirable but not mandatory.
• Service Technician Experience Preferred.
• Strong use of technological devices including tablets.

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty
• Engage with many different customers each day and represent the dealership
• Organize and prepare for the day’s appointments
• Perform vehicle repairs and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair order in a clean and efficient manner
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and customer communication
• Accurately document vehicle repairs/work performed on the repair order
• Stay informed of Ford technical bulletins and complete required training
• Able to work occasionally in challenging weather conditions
• Able to drive and maintain a company vehicle responsibly
