Job summary

Bish’s RV is seeking a Mobile Service Technician to diagnose and repair RV units at customer sites. Ideal candidates are hands-on, with experience in car maintenance, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, or general contracting.

The role includes performing warranty repairs to manufacturer specs, testing with diagnostic tools, and coordinating with Service Advisors to keep customers informed. On-the-job training and certifications are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years in a technical field is a plus.
• Must have own set of personal tools.
• Ability to stand, stoop, crawl, and bend for long periods.
• Lift 25–50 lbs with or without assistive device.

Responsibilities

Job description

As a Mobile Service Technician, you will be responsible for traveling to the customer and diagnosing and repairing their RV units. The ideal candidate is confident working with their hands, background in car maintenance, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, electrical, or general contracting, has experience in repair diagnostics, and has good attention to detail. Bish’s RV offers on the job training and certifications.

What you'll do:

• Performing work specified on repair orders with efficiency and in accordance to dealership standards
• Test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair RV systems
• Communicate directly with Service Advisors so customers can stay up to date
• Execute warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications
• Provide orientation warranty walk-throughs with customer who have purchased an RV

What we're looking for:

• Experience in either mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, or maintenance work
• 3-5 years of experience working in a technical field a plus
• Have a set of personal tools
• The ability to stand, stoop, crawl, and bend for long periods of time
• The ability to lift anywhere from 25 to 50 lbs with an assistive device
• Work in environments that include heat, cold, dust, and loud noises
• Flexibility with work schedules; including Saturdays (we are always closed on Sundays)
• Neat, clean, and professional appearance
• Positive attitude and enthusiasm for learning
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test
• Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the Company’s Vision, Mission, and Value in all interactions with customers and co-workers
