You''ll drive to perform patrols, deter incidents, and respond to security concerns, with a schedule including evenings and weekends. Qualified candidates will have a valid driver''s license, strong communication skills, and a background check.

Qualifications

• A valid driver''s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted in line with laws.
• Criminal histories considered in a manner consistent with laws.
• Drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and potential hazards, and report observations to appropriate site contacts.
• Assist with access control, customer directions, and maintaining an orderly presence that may deter unwanted activity.
