Allied Universal in Wilmington, NC is hiring a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Vehicle Driver for a part-time role. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, monitor access, and deliver outstanding customer service while following site protocols.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, minimum age 18, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening. Shifts include overnight daytime blocks with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly per site protocols.
• Conduct regular patrols of interior/exterior areas to identify unusual activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials; log visitor and delivery activity.
• Document observations and incidents in written reports and communicate with supervision.
