Job summary

Allied Universal in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Security Officer for a Full Time Unarmed Driving role. You will provide security and customer service for retail and other client sites, performing patrols by vehicle and on foot, maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents, and responding to incidents professionally.

The role requires a valid driver's license, strong reliability, and the ability to work a listed schedule.

Qualifications

Valid driver's license required.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
Guard card or license preferred.
Customer service experience preferred.
Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
Background check and drug screening may be required.
Licensing requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store associates while carrying out security-related procedures and site policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and potential hazards, and report observations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
Assist with access control, visitor interactions, and documentation of incidents and daily activities in accordance with site requirements.
