Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for Shopping Center Mobile Patrol in San Diego, CA. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, deter incidents, respond to alarms, and maintain a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors.

This full-time, day-shift role pays $22.39 per hour and includes opportunities for training, growth, and added benefits through Allied Universal.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Valid driver's license required where job is located.
• Background check and drug screen as per policy.
• Must be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or property management personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency response procedures.
• Monitor access points and report unauthorized activity, property damage, maintenance concerns, and other security-related observations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
