Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Retail Center Afternoon Patrol Driver in San Diego, CA. The role entails patrolling a commercial real estate location, providing security, and delivering excellent customer service to tenants and staff.

The position is full-time with a pay rate of $22.39 per hour. Responsibilities include monitoring access points, responding to incidents, and preparing detailed reports to maintain safety and security standards.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen as conditions of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations calmly and effectively.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office buildings, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications as required.
