Job summary

Securitas Global Clients America is hiring a Mobile Security Officer in Bloomington, IL. Earn $20.00/hour with 1st/2nd split or 3rd/overnight shifts, and join a team focused on safety, patrols, and client service. Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license and clear driving record.
• High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months.
• Standard computer / technology skills.
• 2 years security experience preferred.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus!!
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a calm and professional manner.
• Must have great attention to detail and the ability to remain alert throughout the duration of the shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Perform access control at security entrances / exits.
• Conduct patrols inside / outside the client's premises, potentially in various weather conditions and in different types of terrain on foot and/or in a company vehicle.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Provide detailed written reports.
• Work in a team environment to ensure site / organizational goals are achieved daily.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.
