Job summary

Securitas is seeking a Multi-Site Security Officer for Bloomington, IL to help protect people and property across multiple sites. You will patrol, monitor entrances, and engage with guests to ensure safety and security.

Shifts include 2nd and 3rd, with training and career growth opportunities. Must be 18+, have a valid license, and HS diploma or GED, with pre-employment screening required. Benefits and weekly pay available.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and clear driving record required.
• High school diploma or GED required, OR ability to complete GED within 6 months.
• Standard computer / technology skills needed.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Must interact professionally with a wide range of individuals.
• Attention to detail and vigilance throughout the shift.
• Pre-employment screening including drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Perform access control at security entrances / exits.
• Conduct patrols inside and outside the client's premises in various weather conditions.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Protect evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.
• Set up barriers / signage and provide direction or information to others.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

What Your Day May Look Like

Position Requirements
