Job summary

Securitas Security is seeking an Overnight Security Officer for a full-time role in Bloomington, IL. The position offers a wage of $18.50 to $20.00 per hour and a 3rd shift schedule, with training and advancement opportunities provided by a dedicated management team.

You will perform access control, patrols, and de-escalation, report safety issues, and interact with clients and guests in a team environment.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and clear driving record.
• HS Diploma, GED, or ability to complete GED within 6 months.
• Two years of security experience required.
• Standard computer/technology skills.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Prior Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus.
• Interact with a wide range of individuals calmly and professionally.
• Attention to detail and alertness throughout the shift.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Perform access control at security entrances / exits.
• Conduct patrols inside / outside the client’s premises, potentially in various weather conditions and in different types of terrain.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.

• Work in a team environment to ensure site / organizational goals are achieved daily.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Available Schedule: 3rd / Overnight Shift

Basic Requirements
