Job summary

H. T. PROF Group, a long-standing family-owned business, seeks a Route Sales Manager to deliver industrial hardware directly to customers within a defined territory.

You will run a fully stocked mobile store, cold-call prospective clients, and present solutions using on-board demos and sample boards. The role requires residing in the territory, owning or leasing a mobile-store vehicle, and maintaining a clean driving history.

Qualifications

• Education: high school diploma or equivalent.
• Outside industrial sales experience, especially route or industrial sales, is preferred.
• Strong job stability: ideally no more than 3 employers in the last 10 years.
• Must reside within the assigned territory and be able to purchase or lease an approved mobile store vehicle.
• Ability to kneel and bend regularly due to mobile-store operations.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and sell to customers in the defined geographic territory through cold-calling and face-to-face visits.
• Present products and services using sample boards, product demos, and the mobile store.
• Maintain the cleanliness, operation, and marketing of the mobile store; submit daily sales and prospect reports.
• Maintain accurate customer records in the company software including notes, names, phone numbers, and addresses.
