Job summary

Goodfellow Corporation is seeking a Field Service Technician to service mobile rock crushing equipment, conveyors, and related systems at customer sites. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment to minimize downtime and ensure safe operation.

This role involves travel within the assigned service area, with occasional overnight trips. You will train customers on proper use, document work, and uphold OSHA/MSHA/DOT safety standards in industrial environments.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Hands-on mechanical experience with heavy equipment or conveyors.
Basic welding and fabrication experience.
Ability to read basic electrical/hydraulic schematics.
Ability to safely use hand/power tools and measuring tools.
Clear communication and problem-solving in the field.
MSHA experience is highly valued.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair mobile rock crushing equipment and conveyors.
Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled service to reduce downtime.
Set up, commission, relocate, and tear down equipment at customer sites.
Instruct customers on safe operation and provide service recommendations.
Document work, parts used, and equipment condition accurately.
Follow safety policies and OSHA/MSHA/DOT requirements.
