Goodfellow Corporation is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform on-site setup, maintenance, repairs, and teardown of mobile rock crushing equipment at customer sites. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, clean driving record, and hands-on mechanical experience with heavy equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and driving record meeting company requirements.
• Hands-on mechanical experience with heavy/industrial equipment.
• Basic welding and fabrication experience.
• Ability to read basic electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Safely using hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices.
• Clear customer communication and problem-solving in the field.
• MSHA experience is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair mobile rock crushing equipment, conveyors, and related systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled service to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
• Repair or replace belts, hoppers, wear parts, and other mechanical components.
• Perform basic welding and fabrication in the field as needed.
• Read and interpret electrical/hydraulic schematics to aid diagnosis and repair.
• Set up, commission, relocate, and tear down plant equipment at customer sites.
• Instruct customers on safe operation of equipment and communicate repair needs.
• Document service work, parts used, and equipment condition accurately.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in safe, serviceable condition.
• Follow OSHA/ MSHA/ DOT requirements and report hazards promptly.
