Job summary

The Auto Club Group in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Service Vehicle Operator to respond to roadside calls, assist members with jump starts, tire changes, lockouts, and tow vehicles when needed. You will work on the road, use tablets, and follow safety procedures to deliver excellent member service.

This role requires a valid driver’s license, DOT readiness, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean MV record.
• DOT physical and background checks required.
• Strong customer service and professional communication.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Respond to roadside calls and provide emergency services.
• Perform tire changes, jump starts, fuel delivery, and lockouts.
• Tow vehicles when required and document activities.
• Verify membership and maintain safe driving practices.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and use tablets for requests.
