Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in Providence, RI is seeking a Mobile Engineer to maintain retail facility systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building repairs.

You will manage work orders, coordinate materials, and ensure safety and compliance across sites in the Providence area. The role requires driving a company vehicle, performing preventive maintenance, and applying practical, innovative solutions while upholding CBRE RISE values.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience.
• Universal CFC certification and Valid Driver’s license required.
• Ability to lift/carry heavy loads up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Apple products; Service Channel experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural and control systems for the facility.
• Review inspections of HVAC, plumbing and electrical to ensure operation meets design specs.
• Provide estimated time of completion and materials needed for repairs.
• Maintain truck stock inventory and tools.
• Perform preventive maintenance and oversee emergency repairs as needed.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and safety directives.
• Operate company vehicles for daily work responsibilities.
• Apply knowledge to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
• Lead by example and build consensus consistent with CBRE RISE values.
• Work within broad guidelines and policies.
