Job summary

Colliers International is seeking a Restaurant Maintenance Technician to provide both preventative and reactive maintenance support across a defined local market in California. This role will ensure that restaurant kitchen equipment and building systems meet performance standards through timely diagnostics and repairs.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5+ years of experience, EPA Universal Certification, and a strong mechanical aptitude. Competitive compensation includes health benefits and a salary range of $80,000­-110,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Technical trade school training and/or relevant hands-on experience required.
• Minimum 5+ years of related trade experience or equivalent.
• EPA Universal Certification is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, install, and remove commercial kitchen equipment.
• Respond to service requests within established service level agreements.
• Maintain an organized service vehicle, tools, and parts inventory.

Skills

Technical trade school training and/or relevant hands‑on experience

5+ years of related trade experience

Proven training or experience in sealed refrigeration/HVAC systems

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
