Job Description

We are seeking a Mobile Release & Deployment Engineer - iOS / Android to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in mobile CI/CD, app store publishing, and release governance and a proven ability to coordinate and deliver high-quality iOS and Android releases to production.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end mobile release planning, readiness, and deployment for iOS and Android apps.
• Serve as liaison among Mobile Development, QA, Product, Release Management, and Production Support.
• Manage app submissions and approvals through App Store Connect and Google Play Console.
• Operate CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and ensure compliant release governance.
• Identify, communicate, and mitigate deployment risks and issues across teams.
• Support production validation and monitoring during and after releases.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years in Mobile Application Development, Release Engineering, DevOps, or Deployment Management.
• Understanding of native iOS and Android development lifecycles.
• Experience with Agile teams and Release Train deployments.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Proven management of releases via App Store Connect and Google Play Console.
• Knowledge of mobile build, deployment, and production support processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot deployment issues and coordinate resolutions across teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication with technical and business stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience supporting enterprise-scale mobile applications.
• Knowledge of banking technology controls, risk management, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with mobile monitoring and production validation processes.
• Understanding of Git, Bitbucket, and source control practices.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with Java, Swift, Kotlin, Python, or scripting.
• Background in deployment automation and release management tooling.
• Knowledge of DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering practices.
• Familiarity with Bank of America mobile application delivery processes.
• Ability to operate effectively during critical production releases and incidents.

Primary and Secondary Skills:

• Secondary: Kotlin.

Work Arrangement and Interview Process:

• Hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite in Charlotte, NC.
• Start month: November. Approved location: Charlotte, NC.
• Interview: 1-2 rounds. Video required. In-person required. Glider ID verification.
