Job summary

Transport Refrigeration of NW Arkansas is seeking a Mobile Refrigeration Technician to provide on-site service and repairs for transport refrigeration units, APUs, cab A/C systems, and heaters in Lowell, AR.

You will operate a company service truck, travel to customer locations, and work a Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM schedule with on-call rotation. PTO starts Day 1, and travel is occasional.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• 3+ years in transport refrigeration, diesel, HVAC, APU, or mobile service.
• Valid, unrestricted driver's license and DOT Medical Certification.
• EPA 608/609 certifications or ability to obtain.
• Thermo King Certi-Tech certification or obtainable within 90 days.
• Own toolbox and required specialty tools.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel and participate in on-call service.

Responsibilities

• Operate a company service truck safely and maintain it in top condition.
• Perform transport refrigeration unit repairs, service, and installations.
• Service new and used refrigeration units.
• Diagnose and repair cab air conditioning and heating systems.
• Perform APU repairs and service.
• Perform heater repairs and installations.
• Travel to customer locations and perform mobile/road service.
• Participate in on-call service as needed.
• Manage service truck inventory, tools, and parts.
• Schedule and manage your own workload based on customer needs.
• Build customer relationships and help grow the mobile service route.
• Complete service orders and documentation accurately.
• Meet standard repair times while providing quality service.
• Service and repair company vehicles and equipment.
