Job summary

Peak Industrial Company is seeking a dedicated technician experienced in transport refrigeration repair. You will service Thermo King, Carrier, and similar equipment for trucks and trailers, with supervision as needed.

The role requires diagnosing and repairing compressors, coils, and electrical components, using diagnostic tools, and documenting all work daily. On-site, yard, or mobile service environments are available with after-hours on-call rotations.

Qualifications

At least 3 years of experience with refrigerated equipment.
Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations.
Familiar with Thermo King, Carrier, and similar transport refrigeration equipment.
Good verbal and written communications skills.
Certified to use refrigerants (R134a, R404, R410, and others).
May need to use a laptop to reference repair manuals.
Work may be in shop, yard, or on mobile service vehicles.
Willing to be on emergency after-hours on-call rotation.
Must be willing to take on additional duties as requested.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on refrigerated equipment for trucks, trailers, and containers.
Diagnose and repair/replace compressors, coils, and electrical components.
Use diagnostic gear to flash controllers and diagnose alarms.
Record all work on repair orders and submit daily.
Keep work areas clean and organized.
Follow procedures to track work and complete related forms.
Complete tasks on time per regulations and directions from leads.
