Job summary

NFI Industries is seeking a mobile refrigeration technician to diagnose and repair Carrier and Thermo King units, using advanced diagnostic tools to keep our fleet running safely. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, welding as needed, DOT inspections, and 608 EPA certification.

Qualifications

3-5 years of maintenance experience
608 EPA certification is required
Valid drivers license is required
Preferred ability to obtain Class B license
Technical degree or equivalent maintenance experience
Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and mechanical issues on mobile refrigeration units using diagnostic tools
Perform preventive maintenance on refrigerated trailers
Welding/fabrication as needed on trailer equipment
Perform DOT inspections per FMCSA guidelines
Lift/carry up to 75 lbs and maintain mobility for equipment access
