Job summary

W&B Service Company LLC is seeking a Transport Refrigeration Technician with 1–2 years of experience to diagnose and repair transport refrigeration systems. The role requires a valid driver’s license, own tools, and the ability to be on-call for after-hours service.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of Transport Refrigeration Technician experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Must be able to be on-call for after-hours service.
• Must have own tools.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, stoop, reach, stretch, step, climb, and/or sit frequently.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostics and repair of starting and charging systems, cooling and re-charge, and electrical including fault codes.
• Perform leak detection procedures and refrigerant repairs.
• Replace compressors and solder refrigerant lines as needed.
• Replace evaporator and condenser units and front/rear main engine seals as required.
• Conform to safety and health standards.
