Job summary

High Point & Affiliated Organizations in Brockton, MA is seeking a Recovery Coach for the Community Based Recovery Support (CBRS) program in Brockton. The role requires a high school diploma and lived experience with substance use and recovery, with a pay range of $22-27 per hour and a 40-hour workweek.

You will support individuals facing substance use and mental health challenges, coordinate with an interdisciplinary team, maintain confidential records, and help clients build recovery plans.

Qualifications

• Must have courteous and professional demeanor at all times.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to organize ideas clearly.
• Knowledge of basic computer skills and EMR systems; willingness to learn.
• Understanding of addiction treatment services and recovery support services.
• Compliance with regulations including HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2.
• Certification in HPAO de-escalation program preferred.
• Ability to work with diverse populations and collaborate with external providers.

Responsibilities

• Provide emotional and social support to Members.
• Assist Members in developing recovery plans and skills.
• Help Members build recovery-supportive relationships and community links.
• Coordinate with treatment, peer support, and social services for benefits and housing as needed.
• Support Members at meetings with probation officers or social workers when appropriate.
• Document patient engagements in the EHR system and maintain productivity.
