Job summary

WellNow Urgent Care is seeking a dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our expanding team. You will operate and monitor X-Ray equipment, travel to multiple WellNow locations within the region, and support patient care with safety-first radiology procedures.

Responsibilities include patient prep, image capture, EMR documentation, and coordinating with clinics to ensure timely exams. A current ARRT certification and state licensure are required, with ongoing education and growth opportunities

Qualifications

• Mastery of best practice x-ray procedures and protocols.
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology for x-ray testing.
• Awareness of radiology safety hazards and shielding.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).

Responsibilities

• Start up and shut down all X-Ray equipment.
• Identify patient and confirm ordered examination.
• Travel to designated locations within the region to perform X-Ray exams.
• Maintain fleet vehicle duties and daily logs.
• Coordinate with location teams and stay in communication.
• Prepare patients and perform radiologic procedures following safety standards.
• Obtain patient history and note observations during radiologic exams.
• Use radiation protection and shielding materials as required.
• Ensure equipment functions properly and report malfunctions.
• Document radiologic procedures in EMR for billing.
• Obtain pre-authorization for CT scans where needed.
• Confirm X-Ray exam in PACS and file reports.
• Clarify discrepant readings with medical providers.
• Restock and clean sites; participate in QA/QC programs.
• Provide basic medical assisting and triage to support patient flow.
