Job summary

WellNow Urgent Care is seeking a dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our expanding team. This role involves traveling to designated locations within the region to perform X-Ray exams, starting up/shutting down equipment, and ensuring patient safety and accurate documentation in the EMR.

Minimum education includes an accredited Radiologic Technology program and ARRT certification, with state licensure as required.

Qualifications

• Mastery of x-ray procedures and protocols.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy/physiology for X-ray testing.
• Ability to identify equipment issues and troubleshoot.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proficient with EMR and radiology workflows.

Responsibilities

• Start up and shut down all X-Ray equipment.
• Identify patient and confirm examination orders.
• Travel to designated locations within the region to perform X-Ray exams.
• Maintain fleet vehicle logs and daily checks.
• Prepare patients and perform radiologic procedures following safety protocols.
• Document procedures in EMR and assist with billing notes.
• Obtain pre-authorization for CT scans when required.
• Verify X-Ray results in PACS and chart.
