Job summary

Infosys in San Jose, CA is seeking a Technology Consultant 2 to contribute to requirements elicitation, design discussions, coding, testing, and production issue resolution. You will document requirements, guide design decisions, and help maintain software quality across the SDLC.

The role emphasizes hands-on testing of Android and iOS devices, test automation exposure, and collaboration with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced delivery environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Android and iOS testing across OEM devices.
• Experience configuring devices, installing builds, apps and test packages.
• Ability to execute test cases and document results clearly.
• Experience identifying and validating issues in app behavior, UI, crashes and battery usage.
• Exposure to test automation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Document assigned parts of business requirements for design and development guidance.
• Facilitate software design discussions and record decisions for the team.
• Participate in coding and integrate features while maintaining stability.
• Conduct code reviews and maintain code repositories.
• Implement test strategies, analyze results, and coordinate bug fixes.
• Develop user training, documentation, and support frameworks.
• Resolve production issues and suggest preventive reliability improvements.
• Maintain detailed records of code, tests, and support activities.
