Job summary

Infosys Limited in the United States is seeking a Technology Consultant 2 to drive mobile testing and software design collaboration. The role covers end-to-end SDLC from requirements to implementation, with emphasis on test execution, defect validation, and knowledge sharing across teams.

Candidates should have hands-on Android and iOS testing experience, device configuration, and the ability to document results clearly. This full-time position may require relocation to the San Jose area.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Android and iOS device testing, including test execution, defect validation, and issue analysis.
• Experience testing Android and iOS devices across OEMs.
• Experience configuring devices, installing builds, applications, and test packages.
• Ability to execute test cases, follow test procedures, and accurately document results.
• Experience identifying and validating issues related to app behavior, UI responsiveness, crashes, battery consumption, thermal performance, and overall device stability.
• Exposure to test automation is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Document assigned parts of business requirements and guide design discussions.
• Facilitate software design discussions and document design decisions to guide the technical team.
• Participate in coding and integrate new features into existing applications, maintaining stability.
• Conduct code reviews and maintain code repositories.
• Implement test strategies, analyse results, and coordinate bug fixes.
• Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks.
• Resolve production issues and recommend preventive strategies to enhance reliability.
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities.
